Sustainably hand-picked and sun-cured from the clean, cold waters of Canada's East coast, our Kombu is known for tenderizing proteins and supporting healthy digestion.
It is also a great source of iron and iodine, as well as vitamins A, B1 and C. Vitamin C prevents the breakdown of collagen in skin and helps keep the skin looking smooth and young.
Kombu is mildly salty and has a subtle sweetness. In addition to being a wonderful tea, it can be simmered in broths, soups, stews, casseroles, and bean or rice dishes.
